Certified parts: what does it mean?

02/08/2026

A certified used part should be clearly identified, checked and described before sale.

Certified parts: what does it mean?

A certified used part is not a new part. It means the part has been identified, checked and offered with information that helps the customer choose correctly.

Clear identification

The part should be linked to the right product type, compatible models and, when possible, an OEM reference.

Condition check

Signs of use are normal, but major defects such as broken mounts, cracks or damaged connectors should be visible or mentioned.

Real photos

Photos show condition, colour, side, mounting points and possible marks. For bodywork parts they are especially important.

What it does not mean

Certified does not mean new or perfect. It means the part is sold with clear information so the customer can order with more confidence.

Find the right part now

Go directly to the most useful category or search page to continue your check.
